"Glimpses" was created based upon Naebeck's study abroad experience spent in Florence, Italy while studying at the University of Michigan prior to his work as a professional photographer.
Imagine that you just wake up in the morning, and the first thing that you see is your alarm clock. You just witnessed what Naebeck affectionately calls "glimpses". The next glimpse that you get is of your coffee maker as you take your first morning coffee. The collection of work embodies the experience that one takes in with their first time in unfamiliar places.
Embracing techniques of shooting blind, shooting from the hip, and following nothing but gut instinct, Naebeck takes you on a perspective of witnessing a place for the first time and reminds us why cultural exchange is important and the way of the future."
