Take a Tour of Noumena with Me; How you Can Use it for Success
Five great features that you can use as a freelancer, sole proprietor, or small business
Last week, I shared a piece about a great new site called Noumena.pro.
If you missed it, check it out here first.
If you have not heard of Noumena, it is a platform for small businesses and freelancers. You can network, find resources, and get financial help.
You can read their mission statement here.
My original piece was about the Noumena referral program. They are looking for new members for their site and offer an incentive of USD $30 per referral.
If someone invites you to Noumena, you get $30 for signing up, and your referrer also gets $30. It is a win-win!
I want to thank those that took the time to sign up. I look forward to networking with you all.
I also want to thank everyone that left comments, questions, and feedback last week. I appreciate you all.
I got many questions about what Noumena does, and many people are excited to try it out.
Some thought I was trying to scam (I assure you, I am not, and I vet every program I share).
Others used foul language, thinking that I wasted their day. I believe they did not read the article. And their Mothers should wash out their mouths with a bar of soap, but I digress.
Today, I will clear up some of the questions.
I will show you five ways that YOU can use Noumena for success for your small business or freelance gig.
1. Networking on Noumena
One of the most powerful features of using Noumena is networking with people like you.
I find Noumena far superior to traditional social networks.
Traditional social networks waste valuable time with ‘other’ content.
Noumena is about business and different user projects. Unlike traditional social networks, all users are also vetted by the Noumena team.
You cannot pass go without them checking you out.
Since using Noumena, I have connected with countless other companies.
I was able to land three new contracts to share my skill set within the first week.
The benefit of networking on Noumena is that, unlike other socials, these users are here only for business.
They won’t waste time with jumping through hoops to find contact information.
2. The Noumena Community section
The second feature of the Noumena site that is very helpful is the Noumena community.
This is comparable to a news feed on traditional socials. But it is different in that it has introductions from members, offers assistance for your business, and you can earn Noums tokens here.
3. Noums tokens
What on earth is a ‘Noums token,’ you ask?
It is a digital currency on the Noumena platform that you can earn and spend for other services.
You get tokens for signing up, completing your profile, offering advice, and more.
Getting a large amount of Noums tokens is well worth your time. You can get a large amount right away by completing your profile.
Once you have enough tokens, you don’t have to use the real currency for services that you need for your business.
The discover section of the Noumena platform is a different way to find members with common interests.
When you reach the discover page, it will show you three sections:
The ‘new Noums for you’ section is helpful with what I do as a teacher and writer.
It allows me to find people that do similar things very quickly that I may be able to speak with about sharing services.
This is a section I got many questions about from my original piece.
People want to know how to make money.
You can create a Noumena wallet in this section of the Noumena site.
A Noumena wallet is for receiving or sending payments from other people on Noumena. It is where you will receive cashouts for referrals. And you can also find finance solutions here for your business.
Note: Noumena currently accepts payments in USD and pays to the United States only as they are in beta. If you sign up, make sure to have a US bank account. They currently support pay outs in US currency.
As a bonus tip, if you complete your capital quotient profile here, you get an extra 100 Noums tokens.
A Noum is a post.
You can create informational posts here about what your business does.
This includes sharing information about projects, social engagement, investment requests, a story, or special (I saw users announce milestones under special).
You can use Noums to drive engagement by sharing helpful pieces that encourage like-minded users to contact you.
I suggest posting here at least once weekly in your traditional social media outreach plans.
Is Noumena worth the time?
My honest answer: YES.
I have enjoyed my time in Noumena so far.
I would suggest this platform for small businesses, sole proprietors, and freelancers that want a more direct approach to doing business. This site has YOU in mind.
Large companies do the same thing as Noumena, but the difference is that Noumena is designed for those of you that get overlooked by larger platforms by harsh criteria.
And a helpful side effect of Noumena is finding better resources for your company. This in turn allows you to make more money.
Want to try it out?
It is free to join with a referral code.
For all sake of transparency, you get $30 for signing up, and I get $30 also. It is a win-win.
If you want to check it out, I included all the steps to sign up with my code in my previous article.
Thanks for taking the time to check out Noumena.
I look forward to networking with you so that we can all achieve success!
