I don't completely know what I'm making next either. That's part of the point.
HOPE.
Sometimes creating is how we get the poison out.
I've gone through moments in my own life where I didn't know what came next. Creating didn't magically make the hard shit disappear. It gave it somewhere to go.
That's why I'm creating the Create Hope Project through Shirley's Fund. Shirley's Fund is a nonprofit organization, and donations to this project will be used to give people opportunities to explore creativity as an outlet for what they're carrying.
We're starting with workshops in Ann Arbor, Michigan; Medellín, Colombia; New York City; and Los Angeles.
